Network Setup Instructions
| Win 95 and 98 | Win 2000 | Win XP | Win Vista | Win 7 | Mac |

Windows 95 and 98:
- Close all applications
- Left click on the ˇ§Startˇ¨ button, go to ˇ§Settingsˇ¨, then click on ˇ§Control Panelˇ¨
- Left double click on the ˇ§Networkˇ¨ icon
- Under the ˇ§Configurationˇ¨ tab left double click on ˇ§TCP/IPˇ¨ for your Network card
- Under the ˇ§IP Addressˇ¨ tab select ˇ§Obtain an IP address automaticallyˇ¨

- Under the ˇ§Gatewayˇ¨ tab make sure there is nothing entered in ˇ§Installed Gatewayˇ¨
- Under the ˇ§DNS Configurationˇ¨ tab select ˇ§Disable DNSˇ¨, hit OK
- Restart your computer
- Left double click on the ˇ§Internet Explorerˇ¨ iconˇKyouˇ¦re now online
Windows 2000:
- Close all applications
- Left click on the ˇ§Startˇ¨ button, go to ˇ§Settingsˇ¨, then click on ˇ§Control Panelˇ¨

- Left double click on the ˇ§Network and Dial-upˇ¨ icon

- Left double click on the ˇ§Local Area Connectionˇ¨ icon and select ˇ§Propertiesˇ¨

- Left double click on ˇ§Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)ˇ¨

- Select ˇ§Obtain an IP address automaticallyˇ¨ and ˇ§Obtain DNS server address automaticallyˇ¨

- Edit: Left click on ˇ§Okˇ¨
- Restart your computer
- Left double click on the ˇ§Internet Explorerˇ¨ iconˇKyouˇ¦re now online
Microsoft Windows XP:
- Close all applications
- Left click on the ˇ§Startˇ¨ button and click on ˇ§Control Panelˇ¨

- Left double click on the ˇ§Network Connectionsˇ¨ icon

- Left double click on ˇ§Local Area Connectionˇ¨
- Select ˇ§Propertiesˇ¨

- Left click on ˇ§Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)ˇ¨ and left click on ˇ§Propertiesˇ¨

- Select ˇ§Obtain an IP address automaticallyˇ¨ and ˇ§Obtain DNS server address automaticallyˇ¨
- Left click on ˇ§Okˇ¨

- Restart your computer
- Left double click on the ˇ§Internet Explorerˇ¨ iconˇKyouˇ¦re now online
Microsoft Windows Vista:
- Close all applications
- Left click on the ˇ§Startˇ¨ button and click on ˇ§Control Panelˇ¨

- Left click on ˇ§View network status and tasksˇ¨

- Left click on ˇ§Manage network connectionsˇ¨ in the left column

- Now double click on ˇ§Local Area Connectionˇ¨

- Left click on the ˇ§Propertiesˇ¨ button

- A User access control panel may come up, please click ˇ§Continueˇ¨

- In the middle text field you will see a list, left click on ˇ§Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)ˇ¨ to select it

- Left click on ˇ§Propertiesˇ¨

- Select ˇ§Obtain an IP address automaticallyˇ¨ and ˇ§Obtain DNS server address automaticallyˇ¨
- Click ˇ§Okˇ¨
- Restart your computer and load internet explorer; your internet should work now
Microsoft Win7:
- Left click on the ˇ§Startˇ¨ button and click on ˇ§Control Panelˇ¨

- Left click on ˇ§View network status and tasksˇ¨

- Left click on ˇ§Change adapter settingsˇ¨ in the left column

- Now double click on ˇ§Local Area Connectionˇ¨

- Left click on the ˇ§Propertiesˇ¨ button

- A User access control panel may come up, please click ˇ§Continueˇ¨
- In the middle text field you will see a list, left click on ˇ§Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)ˇ¨ to select it.
- Left click on ˇ§Propertiesˇ¨

- Select ˇ§Obtain an IP address automaticallyˇ¨ and ˇ§Obtain DNS server address automaticallyˇ¨
- Click ˇ§Okˇ¨

- Restart your computer and load internet explorer; your internet should work now
Mac:
- Click on Apple Menu then select ˇ§System Preferencesˇ¨
- Under Internet & Network click on ˇ§Networkˇ¨

- In the ˇ§System Preferencesˇ¨ windows click on ˇ§Networkˇ¨

- In the left column of the ˇ§Networkˇ¨ window, select either ˇ§Airportˇ¨ if you are using wireless connection or select ˇ§Ethernetˇ¨. In this example I will select ˇ§Ethernetˇ¨

- Make sure that the option ˇ§Configure IPv4ˇ¨ is set to ˇ§Using DHCPˇ¨
- Click ˇ§Advancedˇ¨
- After clicking ˇ§Advancedˇ¨ you will be taken to a configuration screen for TCP/IP. Please make sure that ˇ§Configure IPv4ˇ¨ is set to ˇ§Using DHCPˇ¨
- Next click on the ˇ§DNSˇ¨ tab

- Once in the ˇ§DNSˇ¨ screen, verify that there are no entries made into the ˇ§DNS Serverˇ¨ field

- Click OK.
- Restart your computer and open
